Dr. F. Persia Jamshidi is a molecular biologist specializing in unexplained pain and disease prevention. She is trained as a cancer researcher with focus on targeted therapies for a less common but more aggressive subset of breast cancer called triple negative breast cancer. The course of her work shifted when through a personal struggle she started researching unexplained symptoms and pain. The goal of consultation with her is to enhance the quality of your life through prevention or unexplained pain management.

The Mysterious Disease

In 2009, she was confronted with a bizarre condition that affected only her face. Her symptoms were redness, heat, sharp pain as if thousand of small needles were launched in her face, and swelling to the point of no facial recognition. The course of recovery for a single episode lasted on average two weeks. First the swelling had to go down. In order for that to happen, the swollen skin had to break open, the fluid would ooze out and the skin would fall off. The next step was for the new skin to regenerate. A month after these episodes started, the gap between them shortened and then she started to experience one episode a week. Since the required amount of time for healing and skin regeneration was two weeks, the accelerated occurrence did not allow for the new skin to form on her face. That complicated the issue even further.

Diagnosis

The symptoms mimicked those of an allergic reaction so her doctors performed every possible blood and allergy test known to conventional medicine. They could not identify any food or chemical or any substance for that matter that she was allergic to. The next logical step was to explore whether the condition was an autoimmune disease. After months of careful investigation her 5 subspecialists ruled it out. At this point 6 months had passed since the first episode and her doctors had lost hope. It seemed like there was no explanation for the horrific experience she endured almost every week. Walking around with a skinless face and constant threat of infection, extreme pain and no help in sight, Dr. Jamshidi had to think outside the box.

The Winning Theory

As a scientist she came up with different theories and designed a series of experiments to test them. Amazingly one worked. Dr. Jamshidi discovered that the way her brain processed INFORMATION triggered her condition. Since her discovery she has never experienced any more episodes; and the best part is that she is confident she never will.

Dr. Jamshidi is now working to develop her discovery into an approved therapy, called Behavioral Brain Mapping TechnologiesTM or B2MTTM. She has high hopes that this therapy will be of great assistance to many with unexplained or otherwise untreatable inflammation.

In the interim, Dr. Jamshidi is providing consulting services based on her experiences. She is taking what she has learned, and helping individuals live a healthier life.
